On the requests, etc.

Hi everybody,

I would like to apologize to begin with -- on what I'll write below.

In the course of the last couple of months I have received many requests, which I personally consider a huge compliment -- and I would very much like to thank everybody for their attention and very kind words regarding my illustrations.

Still, the number of requests has been far beyond my ability to complete. Furthermore, I have a very busy, very stressful work. The precious few hours I have free I use for spending time with the people I love, and, a small portion of them, to read some SW novels. The time I spend drawing is even less still, and I do it as recreation.

Hence, I'd like to announce -- and apologize again for this -- that I can not take any requests, and there is a pretty high chance I won't be able to meet the commitments I have taken. It is disappointing, and twice more so for myself. The sad reality is that if I were making my living by doing illustrations, I'd love to help anybody. As the things are, I have to sacrifice some of the few hours I manage to snatch -- and I can't afford this.

That said, I will continue to draw as I was doing (more or less) until now -- but only on topics I find exciting and recreational enough. This means predominantly illustrations based on what I've read and got inspired by.

Again, deep apologies to the people who have contacted me with requests! I owe you all one, I hope the day when I can compensate you will come!

Best regards,

Drone

Hey, we all run into this sort of thing occasionally, don't feel bad about it. Just be sure to directly message anyone you took a commitment from and let them know you won't be able to follow through.

I love your work man, and I do hope you'll continue to post stuff here as you have time.

Asok

I'm sad to hear it; I'm definitely going to miss your work, Drone. But Eclipse is right. It happens to all of us sometimes. External demands have precedence over SWAG. I hope to see more of your art in the future.
