Asil Ryland - Female Human Tech
Height: 1.67m (5’5”)
Weight: 64kg (140lbs.)
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Red and just below the shoulders. Her hair is usually in a ponytail.
Equipment: Earpiece with mike. Computer tech on the left wrist with backpack. Holdout blaster on her right hip.
Clothes: Jump suit (one or two-piece) with equipment. No armor, it just slows her down.

Bio: Asil is a Tech with Lord Hoth's Army of Light during the war against the Brotherhood of Darkness. She is in charge of a top-notch team of techs responsible for communications and repair. Asil was assigned to Lord Crumb's force and the two hit it off and developed a relationship that would not go against the Jedi Council ruling on marriage. Although the battles for Ruusan took a toll on them both they still stuck it out with each other.

Lord Crumb - Male Human Jedi Master
Height: 1.83m (6')
Weight: 82kg (180 lbs.)
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brown
Equipment: Jedi standard equipment.
Clothes: Standard Jedi robes

Bio: Lord Crumb is a Jedi Master in Lord Hoth's Army of Light during the New Sith Wars. He is of the Jedi Sentinel path and sometimes considered not the most serious Jedi in the ranks. Lord Crumb is a humble person who will walk through the camps of his troops and take the time to fraternization with them in the field. He takes the loss of his troops personally but allows the Force to wash through him. Lord Crumb met tech Asil after the Fourth Battle of Ruusan and the two struck up a relationship and the two matched perfectly. After the Ruusan Reformation, Lord Crumb resigned from the Jedi Order to spend more time with Asil who would later be his wife and raise a family together.

Mercy

Sketch for Asil up.
I forgot about the wrist computer, but it would have been obscured here anyway...

Let me know what you guys think, k?

Purcell

I like this alot!
I'm starting to get abit annoyed at your skills Mercy :P
I'll be watching this one.

Casca1967

I think this is my favorite you have done. The line work is right where it should be and again with the outfits. Very nice mercy

Lord Crumb

Asil looks great in sketch form and do not worry about the wrist computer. So kewl is that my wife, who Asil is based on, does own saftey glasses that looks just like those in the sketch. It is just so kewl! Keep up the good work.

-LC :-)

Mercy

Yay!!!
I was a bit worried it wouldn't look like her in profile...
So glad you like!

P.S. Thanks too, Casca!

Lord Crumb

I love where you are getting your background pics. I am guessing that it is from SW: KoTOR TSL. It is looking great. Oh! I forgot to mention what shade of red Asil's hair is: it is copper red.

Asil is also from a military family and she has a command presence when it comes to issuing orders to her tech-team.

*Cheer*

Xanamiar

Wow Mercy... that is an AWESOME background... You drew it so well, it looks real.. I had to look really close to see that it's drawn and painted.. Very nice..

Mercy

Wicked!! Glad you all like it so far!
Good Pick, LC - I took a screen cap from Tien Tubb's workshop in KotOR II.
I'll start getting the colour done on her next!

Mercy

Okay, I've been banned from Photoshop for a few nights due to a long-overdue cortezone injection in my wrist (ow...). However, I have managed to weasel my way into sketching some - so here is my first one of LC.
I know it isn't the stance you'd requested, and I may well re-draw your character, but I had to share!!

Lord Crumb

I like this stance but if you could do two different stances that would be kewl. This stance and something similar to the one I PM you. This stance gives Lord Crumb Tarncrest the look of a Jedi Master looking at evidence of some kind. Also love the saber on his hip.

Additional bio info: After he resigned from the Jedi Order, Lord Crumb Tarncrest is listed as a Gray Jedi, who still follows the Jedi Code even if he doesn't follow the Jedi Council.

I hope your hand feels better soon...

-LC :-)

Mercy

Thanks guys!
Yeah, I've had a Ganglionic Cyst on my wrist for about 6 months and thought it was about time I did something about it. The injection hurts a lot for the first day or two, but it really does work and the unsightly lump on my hand has mostly gone down now, which is good. (I've had them before and sometimes they go away on their own, sometimes you have to go and get them stuck...)
Mine looked a lot like the one pictured on Wikipedia here.

Back to the picture - I was going for a scene in which he was walking the field after a battle and thinking of those fallen. I really liked your line; "He takes the loss of his troops personally but allows the Force to wash through him." and wanted to try and draw an impression of this. As I say, I'll give this another go when I'm feeling a bit more up to speed!

Mercy

Okay, I think this one's about done!
Let me know if it needs any tweaking and, if all is well, I will load it to gallery and start on the next one!

Lord Crumb

THAT'S IT...THAT'S IT. You've got it. That is so Kewl! You've done a great job on Asil Ryland and look forward to the next pic. The colors are well balanced and the hair color is spot on with my wifes.

-LC :-)

Purcell

Woah, I'm gone for two days and all this happens!
I love your work Mercy.

And that lump looks ace :P Glad your feeling better.

Mercy

Yay!!!

I'll post Asil's picture to the Gallery (let me know if you want a better resolution copy sent via email, LC).
And I'll post again with the next sketch!

P.S. Thanks Purcell - I feel I should have been able to scare small children with it... (heh!)

Lord Crumb

Yeah, tha would be kewl! She looks great. Looking forward to seeing LCT completed in due time. My daughter has a small bump on her wrist that looks like the one in the link you provided that shows what yours looks like.

-LC :-)

Mercy

Apparently they're very common, particularly in girls for some reason.
Take her off to the doctor anyway, of course, but they usually go down over a couple of months on their own and don't cause any real troubles.
But tell her sympathy from me!!

Mercy

Okay! I think I've finally found a sketch that I'm happy with for you LC!
Let me know what you think and I'll start on the background...

Mercy

Dude - I can't for the life of me find that training background you sent me!!
I've been searching for pictures of a training area but to no avail... Can you send it to me again?

Cheers!

Mercy

Here's a background I've managed to find, I could work from this - what do you think?

Purcell

Mercy, you plow through everything. It took you just 17 minutes to draw that background!
I think your an alien. There is no other explanation.

Mercy IS E.T.

P.S Looks good *thumbs up*

Lord Crumb

That background works just fine. It is pretty much the sameone but from the opposite end of the room. I just learned how to take screenshots and move them over to photoshop.

-LCT :-)

Lord Crumb

Oh! I forgot to ask that you give my character a five o'clock shadow similar to the first sketch. Looks great though.

I think you may want to make the lightsaber blade color blue or yellow or something that will complement the color green. I do not to overload the pic with to much green.

Since he is Corellian and his robes are green. 2-tone green like Asil with some gray mixed in would be nice. I also PM you about someother details.

-Lord Crumb Tarncrest :-)

Mercy

Sweet guys!

I'd love to take credit for the training room picture, Purcell, but I just grabbed that one from the internet... I will re-do it for the background of the picture.

I agree LC - definitely thumbs up on the 5 o'clock shadow! I only realised I didn't put it in until I had scanned it and loaded it up...

Will post again soon!

Rozali

hehe I really specically like his wrist/forearm guard thing, WHATS THE NAME! graet background, Its SWEET!

Rozali

Lord Crumb

Your welcome on the 5 o'clock shadow.

On the colors I mentioned earlier the colors are symbolic. The green represents his Corellian heritage and the gray is separation from the Jedi Order. Although he has disagreements with the Jedi Council over the Ruusan Reformation articles he still adheres to the Jedi Code (for the most part).

-LCT

Mercy

Sweet as, man!

Okay, here's the re-drawn background with your character dropped in.
I'll start on the foreground colours next!

Casca1967

The bracers are very wicked. Remind me Of Hercules pants from the tv show. I do love the way you do cloth folds. That belt says movement

Mercy

First colour pics up; I've done the face colouring and one with the saber ignited.
May work on this further but it's 12:40 now and I'm going to bed!
