ABAT Starfighter

The ABAT is designed to launch from escape pod tubes. They are ideal for ships that need fighter protection but don't have launch bays or external fighter racks. They are designed for speed, survivability and firepower. Everything else is secondary, the ships have no independent life support, or hyperdrive. The wings and tail surfaces fold for storage and snap out at launch.
