It was a Jedi's greatest sorrow to have to draw their weapon. However when a lightsaver is drawn a warrior she must become. She learned how she must end the conflict as quick as possible to prevent any injury to bystanders. Also that ending a fight does not always need to be the death of the opponent. She learned that if she can remove the threat or subdue her enemy she has won a greater battle. When ever Izsa damaged the Droid her master made her repair him so she became excellent in repairs. The very same Republic the Miners wanted to seperate themselves from. This fear soon turned into agression and they wanted to hurt the Jedi so they hired Mercenaries to take Izsa's mother. Izsa's mother would be later rescued but was badly injured in the process. As a result the King of Berkchest vowed that a small unit of Hund'k Honor guard would remain protecting the home until the end of time.
Her mother eventually died from her injuries. Izsa was badly hurt by her mother's death. She began following the path of the Dark Side. She vowed to get revenge on the miners. Dela Vega's teachings brought her back to the Jedi Path. He discovered her in the caves below the family Villa fighting Hack, the lightsaber training droid. He told her enough that she needed to let her mother go. When she refused he entered the training circle with her and challenged her to a duel. However he faught her with a spoon. This suprize made her wake up. She could not believe that she almost attacked her grandfather, her Jedi master, a weaponless opponent. This shock brought her back on the Jedi Path.

The Clone Wars soon broke out and her training went on hold inorder for her master to fight. Dela Vega was killed in battle.
During the war the Trade Federation forced Izsa's homeworld, Berkchest, to join the Confederacy of Indipendant systems. It was easy for the Trade Federation since they controlled the systems only major starport. The King of Berkchest requested protection when the Trade Federation began the assault. however the Republic could not spare any Jedi. He asked for Dela Vega however all the council could do was send Izsa in his place.

When the Emperor ordered the destruction of the Jedi one of Izsa's friend who was a member of the Antarian Rangers and Republic Judiciary Branch, came to warn her. Before he was able to advise her most of the Jedi were killed. Branson, the Antarian Ranger, and the King of Berkchest, decided to help hide Izsa from the Jedi Purge. They did not believe that the Jedi would rebel against the Republic and try to overtake it. It was not in their character. They told Imperial Officials that she was killed defending the King. The Republic soon Invaded Berkchest to free the planet and bring the system back under Republic or now Empire control.
Since the Berkchest system was founded by the Nobles of the Tapani Sector, a sector with great wealth and military power, The Emperor decided to exile all the Nobles who opposed him rather than kill them to win the support of the Tapani Sector. Izsa was exiled along with other Nobles to a system known as Eliad deep in the Minos Cluster.
It was on Eliad she remained until the destruction of the Empire. She helped for a resistance movement out of the school she taugh nobel family children along with her friend the Professor.
After the Empire lost control of Eliad Izsa was able to leave system and after years of traveling Luke Skywalkers New Jedi Order.
