Kar'Enai Kwaad

This is a commissioned piece for a friend, of their original character, Kar'enai Kwaad.

Kar'Enai Kwaad is a heretical - yet pioneering- master shaper of the Yuuzhan Vong, and defines her appearence in a few unique ways, such as altering her traditional headdress with pheromone-producing floral life. In addition to this she has bioengineered many unique tool-creatures for her shaper's hand (Though that is not seen in this piece, it was mentioned in the discription given to me by her creator.)
Many have attempted to accuse her of heresy, but she has always found ways to conceal her unorthadox work - the most interesting of all, her reasearch into curing those shamed, who's implants and body modifications have failed them.

Later in life, she would go with her people as they made the transition to the world of Zonama Sekot, where she continued to work on a cure, for the now Extolled, finally succeeding via laborious and painful shaping protocols. Though this has not been without it's controversy, she has also found many supporters among both former shamed and shapers alike.
