Lightspear

The lightspear is a combination of a primitive spear and a
lightsaber. The spear is modified to hold a lightsaber at its top,
which can adjust its blade length to match a spears blade. Jedis of
ancient times, originating from more primitive planets, used this
weapons. Jedi Master Fajon from Uthar built the first model of this
weapon. His spear was equipped with a system, which ejected the
lightsaber from the staff, three seconds after it hit a target in
flight. This made him able to take his lightsaber in melee combat
after throwing his spear.
