This is another character I tried to create but never went anywhere

Hey, man. I've been looking over your new gallery entries and I think you've done a lot of work on getting the faces right but, perhaps, to the detriment of a few other aspects. I don't mean to sound too critical, but I think you need to work a little on proportions and especially on your hands. Hands are something that the portrait artist tends to neglect and it's one of the first things that the rest of pick up on. I would suggest doing some more study drawings for your own benefit, working from life if at all possible, or get some good nude pose books. Take a good look at lighting, especially light sources and work it into your bodies so they seem a bit more three-dimensional.
Sorry to sound so negative, and on your first posting too, but we all try and help around here. I would have a look around at some of the work on the site, find some artists you like and pick their brains about how they do what they do. Most of us here are happy to help and the site is about encouraging emerging artists as well as being big-ass SW geeks!
Hope you stick with it,
~ Mercy.

I do not take it badly at all. I have had no training in art as a result I know my art is not that great. For years I have debated on posting my art because I do not thing it is the best. I agree with you Hands are the most difficult for me. Most of my art is of women because I draw guys even worse. Also I would say much of my art is too Viluptious. I think I spelled that wrong. Anyways I do not know why I always do that too.

Heh, did I complain about the boobs? (I'm a girl by the way)
I think you've got real talent man, just stick with it and you'll improve. It's like everything else in life and we were all the same when we started. I still have real trouble drawing guys - they always end up looking like girls. *sigh*
Anyway. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!
