Wow, didn't know someone took this request.
It looks very interesting, I love the contemplative pose, it does quite fit him. My only points of criticism are his eyebrows and eyes, they don't look enough like the actor Rockmond Dunbar. Maybe try some dark circles around the eyes, too, showcasing his "boredom". Also, I think his forehead sticks out a little bit more. Apart from that, maybe add some short stubbles of hair and make his waist-down body a big broader... he looks kinda thin from chest/waist-down.
I know, these are all tiny details - since I don't wanna be nitpicky, there's no need to fix all or any of them. It's your artwork, after all. ;)
That said, thanks a lot for starting this, I'll be looking forward to seeing the next stages. :D Oh, and he's called Macos Fenix. ;) :P
Keep it up, mate!

The shadows around his eyes and stubble in his head will be done in the colour version, cause it would look a bit funny doin it in ink. I'll have a play with the waist though. Will refer back to your site pics again...

On second thoughts, I agree about the eyes and have altered them. Also, made his chest and waist bulkier. (Any more and he's running the risk of looking like he has breasts though. I'm not sure if he does already...)
Oh, thanks for the heads-up about the name. Missed that - sorry.

He looks totally perfect now! Great job, imho one of your best recent artworks.
Can't wait for the colors, this is gonna be awesome. And of course, I don't know where to start to thank you. I really appreciate this. :)

Decided to try something a bit different from my usual. I wanted to have a bit of a play with lighting, and I'm pretty pleased with it.
Anything need tweaking before I submit it to gallery?

Wow, great job on the shading! Especially the skin looks great, and the background is real neat as well.
My only one of two cents is that his expression is almost smiling and content, now, as opposed to the sad, kinda depressed expression of the first one. I did prefer latter version, but it's not that much of a biggie.
Thanks a lot, once more. Do you have a hi-res of the finished piece? If so, I'll give you my email address and you could perhaps send it to me. :)

I've touched up the shadows around the mouth, and I think it's a bit more like you'd suggested. If you're happy with it otherwise I'll post the pic in the gallery, and if you send me your email in a PM I'll send you the jpg. 'Kay?
I've had lots of fun with this one. Cheers, man!
