Member since: 2007Personal Request from Cenedra_Nasio to compliment the other pictures I have done for the various people in the game she plays. Here's the description:
"Alusair Farstrider is a decendant of a Miraluka Jedi Master who had Farseeing. The Miraluka forsaw that she would have an ultimate grandaughter who would follow in her footsteps in the ways of a Jedi and help bring balance the Force someday. So going against the Jedi code, she had a child and then sent her to live with a foster family who raised the child and from there the bloodline started.
Alusair Farstrider is a human Jedi who is far enough decended from her Miralukan ancestor, that only the strong connection the Miralukans have to the force remains in her bloodline. Alusair has a very japanese look to her. She has very long black/blue hair that flows to her hips. In the front parts of her hair she wears colored beads. She has the japanese style almond shaped eyes, but instead of a brownish color they are more golden. She wears a sleeveless style short kimono for her jedi robes. Her kimono stops around her upper thighs and bares her shoulders. On both shoulders stretching down to her elbows she has tattoos in green designs (feel free to take an artistic license with these) Her belt is a wide japanese style belt called an obi. She has loose flowing pants that are tucked into calf-high leather boots. Alusair wields two lightsabers that are both light blue in color. She has a strong sense of duty and believes in being a shield to the weak, upholding justice. Even so, she is a fun loving character who tends to get into a little bit of mischief now and then. She is comfortable in almost any setting."

I've played around with the tattoos, I think I like the last one best, though I don't know how it would suit being in green.
I'm quite pleased with the knot-work on the saber. I don't know why but I like it...
Yeah! I really like the last one with the waves. Please feel fee to color them how you would like. They don't have to be green, but I really like the last one!

Here's more of a 'fighting stance' sketch. Got a bit carried away with the shading, though...
I definitely like the fourth picture better than the previous three. The pose does invite a confrontation with an opponent. The shading looks fine to me.

Really?! I totally prefer the third one! Ah well, you can use any that you like, Cenedra, and I'm in the process of colouring up the third image, so I'll post again when that's further along.

the one with out lines. it makes her look more femine. the tatto i like a lot i kinda wish i would put the waves one my shoulders make a really cool sleeve.
I like without lines, I really like how the color version turned out and how the tatoo turned out!

Toyaoka - I drew much of this tattoo based on one I found on the net. I'll post the jpg for comparison, and send the jpg to Cenedra for you.
P.S. Any moderators who think this post too risque, just let me know and I'll take it down, okay? I don't know how strictly PG it is, but I'm really only putting it up for the tattoo reference.

heh, you see why I worried about the PG-ness. It's not like you can see anything - but it's still a bit, you know, naked.

I appreciate your "worry". For future reference, I'd prefer not to have anything of that sort of the site... it's definitely less than Leia's metal bikini, which is sorta the rule of thumb.
That said, occasionally references such as these are necessary and desirable, so please feel free to drop a link in to another site. I wouldn't object to that unless there were content that could be deemed "offensive" in the link.
Again, that's for your sensitivity on this matter as we try to keep the site as PG as possible. :-)

Yeah, I've done a few tattoos for friends and such, but I would be way too squeemish to be a tattooist myself. I like the idea, though!
First colour pic up of the 'Fighting Pose' for Alusair. I've just done the highlights so far - I'll start on the shading next.
I think this one's done - it's not strictly colour, more monochrome, but I kinda like it. My only niggle is that it seems rather similar to the Crystal Roshia one I did for Xan a while back. I don't want to get too repetitive...
