This is my current character in a Saga edition campaign, an 'albino' Mantellian Savrip solidier whose rages push him to limits far greater than any ordinary Savrip. He is the reptilian Savrip, with a snakelike neck and reptile head (Episode IV or Super Star Wars), vs the more sapien/orcish style of some renditions of the Savrip.
He was born an unwelcome prodigy and eventually found his way offworld with a military group, where he came to be known as White Rancor (or Rancor socially), due to his his giant reptilian stature and awesome strength. With them he traveled to many ends of the galaxy, expanding his desire to experience and appreciate the universe.
Unusually sharp witted, he is also peculiarly lithe, an endurance machine, and unfathomably strong (before he flies off the handle). However, he doesn't excel particularly in book smarts or life skills and his white skin* makes him one frighteningly ugly son of a bith.
He took particularly well to unarmed combat and was given the most advanced martial arts training, with a focus on Echani techniques. He finds his poisonous claws (kept nastily sharp; in what fashion I cannot say, I see jagged for tearing, blade-like claws for slicing, or even pointed/tipped for a more wicked piercing look; go for it!) more effective weapons than any vibroblade.
He has been given a neural band to improve his already substantial mental defenses and the only other personal effects of note are a pair of mean looking, custom combat gloves (which allow for his claws to protrude) that weigh 10kg a piece. This ridiculous weight, that any lesser being might be hindered by, offers Rancor extra damage in a simple package while sacrificing neither swiftness nor accuracy.
Rancor primarily keeps to himself, knowing he is both purveyor (he seems little more than a monster at first glance; raging or not) and victim (he actually has rather sophisticated tastes) of a stereotype of brutality. This is not helped by the fact that few know the Savrip language, with which even protocol droids are known to have trouble, though he understands basic. Both loyal and fierce, whoever treats him with respect and friendship gains a silent but invaluable ally on and off the battlefield. At his comrades suggestion, in an extravagant mood he had a rancor tattooed upon his forearm to express what he'd come to accept as his name.
When not on duty, he can be found in a dark corner of the local cantina (taking an entire booth) moderately sipping Bloodsour, Kyrf, Flameout, White Wine, or, when feeling particularly leisurely and its available, Merenzane Gold. Other spots would be deep in the local wilds or among the ruins of his latest assignment.
Scars are something else completely up to artistic licenses, he could easily have many or none; save for some tatoo/burn/scar his tribe gave him at birth. This is to denote his being born a freak and that his recessive biochemistry is to be feared (this is the mark of a being born able to mature into a Mauler, a class I am developing for Raging/berserker characters)
If you need anything else let me know. Though I'd prefer something darker/imposing, I really just want to see him brought to life; it could be epic, highly detailed, emotional, him raging/in battle, meditating... lol. Feel free to run with the character concept. Sorry that I ramble too much... I try to give you my feel for the character without stepping on any toes. Thanks for reading.
*Which makes his larger arteries particularly visible; this intensifies when he goes berserk as increased muscle activity and blood flow makes one wonder what is keeping him in.
