Shades & Cyare
A new request from Setie;
I was hoping to get a pic for a scene from a story I'm writing with a fellow RPer. http://swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=45633 for if you want to read it. :)
Anyways, was hoping to get a scene pic of Shades and Cyare from the beginning of the story. Shades is a prisoner on a mando ship after a nasty fight. So she's got various wounds (none really threatening), her mechanical eye got ripped out so she's got cords dangling, and her mechanical arm got snapped off at the elbow. In other words she's a serious mess. XD
Then you have her appointed guard standing outside her cell. He's just staring...and staring...and staring...and of course he's in all his dark blue armor and just having a Mandalorian staring at you is bound to unnerve. When unnerved Shades gets mouthy.
And that's the little snap shot I want. Mean little punk of a merc that really should not be mouthing off hissing at the Mando guard on the other side of her cell while he tries not to laugh at her and keep his cool.
I know you've kind of done Mando armor but thought I would attempt to be helpful. http://swtor.com/info/holonet/timeline The first real pic of a Mando is about right for how Cyare would look, he even uses a pair of pistols. You already know how Shades looks, just need to make her nice and messy. ^_^

Wowza Mercy. I think I actually like her there better then the original character portrait you did of her. Not sure why, maybe it's cause she looks slightly less psycho and more like she's on the verge of panic and being human. Then again that might just be me cause I know the scene and her head at the time. ^_^

Really cool, love the torn bits of what's left of the arm. Kinda reminds me of an older, more scarred version of Mira from KOTOR 2.

Yeah sadly they didn't leave her with those. Lighters are deadly weapons after all against mandos. ;)

That actually makes sense. She'd probably have one stuck in her little bandanna and no way to light it. As an ex-smoker I feel for the poor girl there. XD

Kinda reminds me of the SSK-7 heavy blaster pistol. Very nice. Never seen a pistol holstered from the grip before. Interesting.

As for the holster I have to admit that it was mostly because I finished the gun and just couldn't bring myself to rub out such a large proportion of it...

I always thought of him as a buzz cut man myself, (Mainly because the only Mando we see out of his helmet in the KOTOR games was Canderous Ordo)but hair under a helmet is going to be a mess anyway, so... This works. And I LOVE the pistol and the expression.
He is SO trying not to laugh at her, and it comes right across.

EvilWalks you'll just have to read the story to find out who won that round. Those two get into it a number of times. XD
Only thing I hate so far Mercy is like you were saying with the pistol there, covering things up. In the scene Cyare technically never takes off his helmet, but how can we see his expression if he has it on? *cries*
I think come artistic license is in order but will leave that to the artist and her muse. Just so you know since I failed to put it in my original request there. Cyare's hair is blond and his eyes are brown. :)

Looks awesome, but Cyare's armor is blue. If your worried about making it to dark I never was specific on Shades's colors. :)
