She turned out great. The picture looks right out of the correct time period and the kind that would grace the nose of a ship, fighter, or hang on a barrick wall.
It turned out great. Definitely the kind of picture that would grace the nose of a gunship or fighter or the wall of a barracks.
The shading and highlights are excellent! I love the bloodstripe on the short shorts.
Right-On. I was waiting for this one to be done! Super!
WAASTHOOME! love it
Thanks. I actually couldn't think of a good costume that didn't seem obviously cheese(y)cake. Yeah, I know... pinup = cheesecake... but I wanted to avoid too much obvious cliche. And I wanted it to be a bit playful. In my view, the best classic pinups, like Gil Elvgren's work, have a very playful quality. I thought it would be amusing to see her in a costume inspired by Han's. She's kinda scoundrel-ish, so it seemed fitting. Glad you like.
Her playing with the Lekku ribbons is a really nice touch. Definite classic pinup quality there :)
Core to the Quad baby!!!
If your going to complement me, don't tell me my work is neat, cool or awesome. If you really like it, tell me why you like it and what you like about it. Only then I'll take it as a complement.
Omigod, this is GREAT. Really got the pinup mood perfectly.
I love the brassy expression, and the shading, and... ah, who am I kiddin'? I love the whole thing!

I have decided to name her "Toonia Ooloa". She was born in the Corellian system and considers herself to be Corellian. It is currently unknown how she is able to wear the Corellian Bloodstripe on her clothes, since the red stripe is usually awarded posthumanously. She is a stanch believer in the Rebellion and works behind the scenes to gather information for Alliance Intel. She also works with raise the morale of the troops by posing for them and signing pictures of herself to distribute throughout the Rebellion.
Hah! Love the bio.
And thanks for the props guys. =)
Wow! Impressive! Great spin on the classic pin up style. I'd like to see this actually on the side of a plane or motorcycle sometime.
