This is what happens when you let the party's two most, ahem, 'criminally inclined' go off together while the rest of you get stuck into the serious business of information gathering. (ie; they go gambling, get accused of cheating, and rather than stick around trying to argue their innocence they RUN FOR THEIR LIVES, using grenades to 'assist' their getaway. Chumps.)
