Knight and Mount
Exilius Nyx Antillus, Selonian Knight, atop her trusty Fenwolf mount.
I actually have no idea whether a fenwolf is meant to look anything like this, I mean this is pretty much just a giant wolf with a bit of extra floof, haha. But, well, I had no real desire to go crazy with creature conceptualising because there's such a dearth of canine-looking beasties in the Star Wars universe, and, and... I like wolves.
OH MY GOD. My jaw just went slack. I... I feel like I need to leave other art pieces at the feet of this art piece to appease it... I'm not sure I've ever seen anything of this caliber on this site before (no offense to everyone else. It's just actually that good.)
I almost can't believe. This is phenomenal.

Words are lost to me as I look at this picture. It is just "AWESOME".

This looks great!!
I love the light effect and the attitude of Exilius and the Fenwolf stopped in their tracks as if sensing something just off the trail!
Well Done!
Wow this is worth of featured art, the unique armour and lightsaber design is my favourite part

OMG! Tussy, you are AMAZING!!!
You know what this reminds me of? Sir Didymus and Ambrosius from the Labyrinth.
Girl - you are so talented...
OHMYGOD Mercy I never thought of Didymus and Ambrosius while working on this, but now I will NEVER NOT SEE IT! AHAHA. I love it!!
But thanks so much for all the comments, guys (Asok dude seriously don't make me blush like that again!)-- I put a LOT into this piece, and have to say I'm pretty proud of how it's turned out (never mind all the little niggles I keep seeing every time I look at it). Aenid, I am so glad you see what I was going for there, with the sudden shift in movement of the characters!
Putting it together was great fun; combining images of sled dogs with jousting knights, poring over a friend's photos from a trip to Africa for colour and lighting ideas, and of course the character concept itself built up between me and my GM-husband. :D
Haha right out of my mind mercy! This is so labyrinth! But aside from that it's freaking awesome. Kinda reminds me of a red wall cover too.
haha! I love Redwall :-p
Oh and Triss- you said one of my magic words up there earlier.
Fox??! :D :D
.... I'm ... in ... awe....
Seriously Tusserk.... Your creativeness knows no bounds !
I totally dig and love the "medieval" inspired theme here of a Mounted Knight in the sense of Jedi Knight, with a lance-like lightsaber and energy shield, as well as armor and cape, complete with a frock of feathers on the helmet. And the wolfish canine for a mounted steed :)

If your going to complement me, don't tell me my work is neat, cool or awesome. If you really like it, tell me why you like it and what you like about it. Only then I'll take it as a complement.
Grats on the feature Tuss... And just so you know, that wasn't me... which mean's Eclipse put it up :)
Okay, feeling crazy honoured right about now!
(And just a little intimidated by the standard I'm setting myself. Eep!!)
This so deserved the Feature! You so awesome, Tussy!!
Yes, this definitely deserved the feature... that's why I featured it. Good work Tusserk!

I love the little creatures that you use in most of your work. They have such character, wonderful job as always.
your art is awesome here as well as your profile. You create a vast array of moods.
Congrats on the feature, Tuss!!! Most certainly well deserved on this one - your attention to detail, gesture & lighting are all top notch work. Good luck with your follow-ups! :P >joking!!<
Wow, this is simply stunning! I myself, have no idea how a Fenwolf would look. But I will forever picture them looking like this. Amazing job. ^^
Still Hunting Holocons~
