Our new campaign features a gungun, a bantha, and a radioactive wasteland.

Out of character, we're desperate to know what's down the hole... in character, we're kind of terrified after having our behinds handed to us by a bunch of womp rats, and have boarded it up while we rest up. The gungan takes watch as penance for dropping our cart on half the party.

Refined sketch of rg000's invented species, the Koralh, as described in their request here. I've had a go at depicting a bull, cow and calf of the species (or should it be buck, doe and fawn?). I still intend to do a colour piece of the specific animal that actually features in their game, but I thought this ended up nice enough to upload for the time being!

The Squad in Action

...before Toaster so abruptly left the Squad, we played a hand in liberating Mon Calamari from Imperial occupation, seizing control of a heavily guarded communications tower at a critical moment in the uprising! It was a pretty memorable fight, featuring such moments as Toaster (allegedly by accident!) throwing a couple of giant machines on top of Lonar, and Nimeq leaping on top of another said machine and 'throwing a grenade down its nom noms'. Fun times, fun times!

...so, House Organa decided to send Omega Squad on a bit of R&R after the many ordeals they'd recently been through. But, the Squad being the Squad, did not end up relaxing so much as uncovering an underground slave racket/smuggling ring. It was a good thing Nimeq had spent that time on Dathomir way back when, because it sure came in handy having that rancor end up on our side of the battle!

A Most Unconventional Padawan

I think this guy deserves a little explanation!

So, a long time ago, while still in the service of the Empire, the squad decided to try and make a little extra pocket money by picking up a few bounties. One such bounty was a mad scientist, who was successfully collected- along with a monstrous being he was in the process of creating by patching together parts of various other beings. Apparently he's trying to create the galaxy's most perfect... thing? Yeah, it's a Star Wars Frankenstein Monster!

(An Acklay and her Aleena master. The squad encountered this duo during their fateful trip to Geonosis... and diplomacy actually won the day! We ended up striking a deal with them and took them safely off planet, rather than having to fight them. A post-game look at their stat sheets made us rather glad it went that way!)

I thought it would be funny to make Howdy the Jawa that Anakin talks to while he's looking for his mom.
Then I thought it would be funnier if he never intended to kill the sand people, but it was all a misunderstanding.

Back in the Day...

Aaaahh! This is the earliest existing rendition of our characters... four sessions in or so, and we were just barely getting to know them! Needless to say, our 'designs' as well as the in-character development of the squad have come a loooong, long long long way, but this is definitely a fun piece of nostalgia for us all.
