Nal Hutta

A view of some Hutt's Palace on the shores of a boggy lake on Nal Hutta.

This was originally going to be something else, but it ended up being Star Wars-y enough to share here.

Mount Celadriss...a place of evil.

Mount Celadriss was a fortress on Corridor on the Junar continent, far from New Ithac. It played a key role in both the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War. A nexus of the Dark side of the Force existed within the fortress.
Layout

Exterior
The exterior of Mount Celadriss was notable for several spires and an enormous saucer dome, which later collapsed.

Interior

Torture chamber
Several rooms within the fortress were used by Maalaryon during the Clone Wars in his experiments, and later during the Galactic Civil War to torture Force users.

Peaceful walkway

Turned out pretty well. Sorta loose and scribbly, which was fun.

Rock arch planet

When I was a kid I used to be so amazed by those arch-shaped rocks in Utah - so I decided to scale them up a bit.

The impressionist brush in Painter is awesome.

Approaching the hangar

It's a bit meh, but I'm very comfortable with the technique I used here, I might use it in the future.

The LAAT Gunship is obviously not my own design. Once again I use it as foreground :P

Fubango, I am calling him. He stands (that's right, stands) on two mechanical leg appendages attached at the waist (assuming he had one to begin with). A bulk of the lower/back half of his body was destroyed in a terrible accident, as well as minor damage to other parts. Now he has a partially computerized brain, a cybernetic eye, and mechanical legs.

That place... is strong with the dark side of the Force.

Pretty generic chip design, really. But I'm very content with the overall painting. Got that nice fluffy cloud effect by using the oily palette knife in Painter X.

Merc'd!

A holonet reality show around Bounty Hunter Ashton Antilles and his cast/crew that follow him around on his missions. The concept is very much like Punk'd, only that they are hilarious methods of "offing" people that are wanted.

Request for Tan-Par. Requester asked that main character, Ashton Antilles be based loosely off of Ashton Kutcher in a poster style.

Background Coruscant sky is from concept art by Yannik Dussealt.
Starship design is a version of one of Douglas Wheatley's starship designs for the "Dark Times" comic and design should go entirely to him.

Abregado-rae is a Core World planet, located off the Rimma Trade Route near Belgaroth. It has always been a 'common destination for smugglers and free-traders.' For more information on Abregado-rae, be sure to check out 'Coruscant and the Core Worlds.'

Almania

Almania is another secluded planet in the Outer Rim. It is located between the Hydian Way and Perlemian Trade Route, near the Wyl Sector on the Tingel Arm. This is the planet where Kueller was felled. For more information on Almania, be sure to check out 'The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons.'

Agamar

Agamar is a secluded planet in the Outer Rim. It is located in the Lahara Sector, a ways off the Hydian Way. The Empire was not able to keep a tight grip on the isolated planet, and many anti-Imperial insurrections occured. Bakura lies on the outer edge of the Outer Rim Territories, bordering the Unknown Regions and lying too close to the Ssi-Ruuk Star Cluster. Nar Shaddaa - The Vertical City

A public request from NightBorn. This was an attempt to try something alittle different to my usual character based work and I really enjoyed doing it.
The appearence of the city, the comic book style and colouring technique was inspired by a recent Star Wars comic I have 'Jedi Quest'.
The digital colouring is quite a departure from my usual style and was quite a challenge too.
I hope to explore some more of Nar Shaddaa soon...

The Romilian Hotel

A request by Evan Hansen.
The Romilian Hotel is a famous Coruscant hotel built thousands of
years ago in the early stages of the planet's growth. While it has
been renovated and slightly modernized, the original structure,
standing at a mere 140 stories, is still standing with much of the
original architecture preserved. Inspired by much of the early work on
many planets, the hotel is light in color with more edges than curves
though the design itself was modern for the time.

Old Station

This run down old building used to be a Republic Diplomatic Station
on Tattooine. After it was vacated it was frequented by swoop gangs,
smugglers or anyone else who needed a place to hang out where the law
never came.

of the planet Ambria.
