This is a request from Xanamiar for a new species of Elf like creatures inspired by Gelflings from the movie "The Dark Crystal".

These are just initial ideas, the design might change as I work on them.

Here's a rough posture sketch of what I've got for DarNamell's request for a Strill. I might even go crazy and build this guy from the bones up. GROSS!!

See if you can guess what I used for inspiration (besides the wonderful sources provided by the requestor)! Also, I can't find anywhere whether or not these little guys have ears or not. Has anybody recently read a book that definitively says?

I am trying something new here. I am not drawing it first. Thus the swooshes of color to set roughly where I want things. I am starting with face details and moving steadily out from there. The gun will be on the ground next to him ready to fire. I am saving it, along with foreground sand( like around the knees) and a wreckage for another layer.

I you see anything that needs changing Mr.B please feel free to shout at me.

The pic has turned out more 'Film Noir' than originally requested, but I'm hoping it's still what he's looking for. And you never know, I might actually get a reply from this one...

I'm not as pleased with it as the previous two but it might straighten out when the colour goes on. We'll see.

"What I'm looking for is a picture of a Male Miralukan, with traces of Arkanian blood on him. He's young (about 20-21), but wise beyond his years. His Arkanian heritage lends him milky-white eyes that do not function, as his Miralukan blood gives him force-sight.

As far as other physical details go, his hair is a silvery-platinum blond. He wears black clothes, in a conservative style. He's on the lean side, but not herion-chic or anything.

Hopefully this looks less earthy

I started this sketch a while ago and only now felt confident to colour it. I'd always intended to tackle it in the same watercolours as my original Gungan sub, but that isn't really an option any more, however I am trying to retain a similar style and colours.

Alright folks, first log entry and my first SWAG Request taken on for RedDragonRipper... Woot for me!

I've got the resources & materials to do this one and don't have to purchase anything extra, so thats the only reason in the future that I'll ever take on or do requests. And this is a learn in progress. A brand new challenge :)

Just finished a sketch of Squeak, the Chadra-fan techie. That's a protocol droid head he's working on there, and yes, that's the protocol droid's body lying on the ground behind him. Tell me what you think!

Jedi Master Cierra Reylen finally breaks from fatigue after viewing the carnage of the battlefield. Dead clones smell the same as dead aliens. There must be another way.

I am working with another artist for awhile. He is stronger than me at pencils and we are teaching each other our strengths and weaknesses. This is a piece I am currently working on. Cliff provided the rough pencils and I am inking and coloring the work. He is extremely fast in his pencil work and he's giving me freedom to worry abotut cleanup and coloring. Should turn out really good if I can get the lighting right.

OK. Now I removed thing cause dang it was crowded. Good news, the cast is off. Bad news is,,,,I cut it off right after I bumped my coffee onto the drawing. Everything is peaches though..nothing I haven't cursed at and thrown at least once ever turned out worth a dang.

the new one was solely based on the one I left up, but drawn and shaded with good ol' Bic round stick med pen.( my personal favorite) I think he looks meaner and the hair is better, not having any myself kinda hurts the referance pool a little.

Just wanted to make a quick reference of Brits mom and dad so I can match features.

Ok, time to crank out some actual SW art. This is a piece that I have had in my sketchbook for a while and am finally getting to re-approach. The original sketch of the figure was really out of proportion but I was able to clean some of it up in photoshop. Its nice not having to redraw the whole things again. :) Anyway, here goes soon-to-be-portfolio-piece #2.

This is a wip for Lorsic Failed Jedi and his Hadru Kazo request. This is just an initial sketch so I can get a good feel for the character. I know I'm missing the goggles and the mask though I kind of like it without the mask. Your thoughts?

I started working on #4 of 5 I think in a group requested by IronRaptor. This involved a Blood Carver. I thought it may be difficult to draw this from very little reference, but it turned out pretty fun. Of course, we'll see about the whole thing once it's time to color.

Here's the prelim sketch of the Character as 'Strife'. The request is quite different from anything else I've tried, so I'm not gonna feel bad if everybody hates it. Might even go for a comic book feel to it, see if I can't get that 'Dark Knight' sort of look to it since the character is loosely based on Batman.
