Taylor Castel

So my friend Erin (fellow gamer and GM) saw my latest Jynxie piece and wanted one. So...here is a start up sketch of her character Taylor Castel. Taylor is a Brig. General in our game system, technician extraordinare, and is often confused for a Jedi. (I think it has to do with those hydrospanners looking a lot like a light saber personally).

Silly Me...

Kinda just noodling around between doing grey scale on that massive Star Wars GM Screen.

Here's another Jynx sketch....hope you like it.

Soooooooooooo....
I finished my doodle of Jynxie here and decided...why not make it into a GM warning for the upcoming convention?

Cheeky. And a good reason to always carry explosives and duct tape in your purse!

Sparks GM Screen

So, I'm at this again after the first two fiascoes. Let's see if this time around it goes any better.

I'm creaking a game master's screen here to sell at conventions to my players. One version will be tailored to my group in specific, while another will be more generic (<----basically that means one will have our 'guild' logo on it and one won't).

CGHub Pin-Up Challenge

Ok, I've been working a lot on some things of the artistic nature. Most of that is looking at the work I already have and trying to decide where to go next, what needs work, ect.....all the responsible, mature things that an artist serious about their career needs to do from time to time.

To be honest....I have been struggling a lot with what it is that I do. I kinda lost focus, interest, and what sanity I did have. So when I saw the challenge for a pin-up in CGHub I thought 'why not?'

The Perfect Wing Woman

Hey guys, since the tablet has been getting more attention than my pallet and brushes when some friends putting together a charity pin-up calendar asked if I was game, I decided to bust out the brushes.

I decided to do some nose art of Rystal Sant on Slave One with some type reading Boba's Bounty, and with Fett standing to the side as kinda a close up, but for the sake of a calendar it wasn't working.

Four Horsemen: WIP

Hey guys, been working on my portfolio now that I am out of school and seeking employment. Been trying out some CGhub challenges recently, right now I am working on the four horsemen and wanted to post it up here since I have been working digitally mostly these days for lack of watercolor space (I am making a huge piece in traditional media and it is hard to do anything else atm).

Inked

Hey guys. Recently myself and a few other artists were challenged to create our own unique t-shirts to self promote at conventions and the like. I've been wanting to do this for some time now, and started doodling some concepts up. Right now I am also thinking about getting this design inked as a sleeve on my left arm....when I can afford it from my commission pay.

I'm kinda going on my own sketch right now but am thinking of Mucha, Adam Hughes, and Rockin' Jellybean in terms of inspiration. I'd like to add some type to this piece as well.

TaTa Gala

Hey all,

Life's been pretty hectic leading up to graduation, and here I am....done after a five year tenure at the American Academy of Art!

Been busy with tons of conventions but now things are a little more laid back. What's new with me? Working on two entries to the TaTa Gala, a show raising money for breast cancer research (for more info or to donate visit tatagala.com).

Among the entries is a Jynxie piece! Yay!
