Well, I've done some more work on this, and I've sized up the WIP. What do you guys think?

I REALLY like it. Are those landing platforms? The art deco feel of the bottom most platform is nice, I like the central pillar's design aspects, as well as the 4 "corner" pieces. I'm not real hot on the top most "cap" to the pillar, but everything else is looking really nice, and coming along well. I can't wait to see an even bigger and colored version :-) *wink*

The topmost "cap" is actually the point where four massive doors meet, closing everything you see inside and egg-shaped shell (hinging on the huge circles you can see around the edge). So the cap actually houses several sealing points, machinery, and even some repulsor-excavation equipment (all of that not yet drawn of course). The dish shape found below it is essentially the station "HQ" (also unfinished). Any suggestions for how these sections could improve would be great
The other two platforms are indeed for landing. Good eye! Look forward to seeing colored layers. I might release another WIP tonight, where you can see the surrounding "park/forest ring" details. Suggestions for details, color schemes, etc. are greatly appreciated.

Looks real good. I have to say, I can't recall seeing much architecture on SWAG. Keep it up and you might start something...
Hey, that looks pretty good. Are the four large discs at the corners the hinges for the doors?
Yes, they are.
Oh I really dig that, however... In your black & white you have a little beveling going on on the edges of the discs, and I think that looks way better than the rounded edges on the color version. Just my opinion.
