A Boy & His Dog [Drig]

A long time ago (in a galaxy far away) Captain Asha and the Last Outlaw recruited a Farghul named Oldus "Pryde" Darmal to the marcenary unit. Pryde served the unit well and became a good friend to almost everyone aboard the Last Outlaw but was unfortunately killed in action several years ago.

Fast forward to more recent events and evidence is brought to light that Pryde may not have been killed in the line of duty by enemy forces after all. Said evidence now points to him being killed by another former crew member. The Rodian scout, Ando Neeku, who once attempted to assassinate Asha but accidentally killed another crew member instead. Neeku has been on the run ever since.

This evidence brought Pryde's wife, Shia, back into the lives of the mercenaries. Shia wanted to find Neeku and make him pay for the death of her beloved. She knew she couldn't do it alone though. Fortunately for her, there was already a contingent of extremely pissed off mercenaries looking for the same traiterous Rodian. Asha didn't want Shia or her son Rayfe aboard the ship in what were becoming increasingly dangerous times but around the same time, it became apparent that the shadowy individuals that the mercs had found themselves pitted against in recent months had begun targeting (and even abducting) known associates of the Outlaw and her crew. Shia and Rayfe would be in danger either way.

.........................

Alright, I think that's enough exposition for now. Let's get to the meat of this request. Shia and Rayfe are two of the ever increasing cast of tag-along npc's the Outlaw has seemingly acquired throughout the course of our adventures. While Shia is an interesting character in her own right, Rayfe is becoming an increasingly more interesting character in my opinion.

He's around 14 or 15 and a Farghul, as previously mentioned. He has displayed an uncanny intelligence that no one really expected of him and is frighteningly sneaky at times. Sneaky or conniving...I'm not entirely sure yet.

At one point, several of the crew raided a junk yard for parts and found several old droids which they brought back for the ships resident super brain to tinker with. Among these droids was a GV/3 Series Guardian Droid. You know, those sort of creepy robo-dog things. This droid was pretty shot to hell at the time but Rayfe asked if he could tinker with it. Since it would otherwise have just going to be used for scrap metal anyway, the boy was allowed. No one really expected anything to come of this tinkering but everyone was surprised when he managed to get the thing in pretty good working condition.

Since then, Rhex, as he was christened, has been a faithful companion and protector to Rayfe and has saved his life several times.

I always though Rayfe and Rhex were a pretty sweet pair so I thought I'd make a request here for them. I kind of pictured a shot of Rayfe crouching or whatever with his arms around Rhex. Aside from that I'm pretty open to artistic interpretation.

Anywho, I could probably have made this a lot shorter. There's not really a lot you need to know about the characters. Teenage Farghul and robo-dog sidekick.

If anyone chooses to indulge me once again by accepting this request then as always, thank you :)

Tusserk

Noooo, bad Tusserk, bad! Get down!

Finish some of these other things you've got going on before getting tempted by other requests!!

Anarchangel

I normally hate to bump old threads but I thought I'd give this request one last chance and see if anyone wants to accept it before I delete it. I'm planning to post a couple of new requests for various npc's and scenes from our campaign but I don't want to have too many requests clogging up the forums here if I can avoid it.

So if no one's interested in this one I think it'll be going.

Drig

Does he have hair on his head? Or just like a cats typical head. The main farghul image from the old alien anthology had them with long flowy hair.

Anarchangel

Well I always imagined Farghul as having some form of "hair" on top of their heads but also with a thin coat of fur on the rest of their bodies.

Also, I totally forgot I was going to delete this request.
